In Ukraine, seperatists in the eastern region of Donetsk have asked to join Russia. More than 90 percent of people are said to have voted for self-rule in Donetsk and Luhansk. The European Union and the UN are calling for dialogue. Al Jazeera’s Jonah Hull reports.
